Aera - Die Pferden & Offseason Traveller

Attention. This is not for commercial ears. The groove and vibe here hit me so deep with overwhelming happiness and lightness. Could not bare not to write about this any longer.

Heard the track many times and only recently discovered the video to it (watch it, fully worth it and super cute) by the infamous duo Kevin Paschold & Sebastian Kökow from The29thNov Films. Even though the EP was released some month ago I still felt more people should be introduced to this.

Before I try to dive into long and complicated formulations of emotions and sensations while listening to it I will just ask you not to miss Die Pferden and while you are at it make sure to check out the upcoming album Offseason Traveller out 4th March on double 12", CD and Digital.

After you have listened to Die Pferden, which is still available on the very solid Silver & Black EP (Vinyl Only -> check out the images of Ralph hand-stamping the release), have a listen to the two other tracks on the EP, Chevere and Flipside Of Time.

Must say, Flipside Of Time is growing on me slowly but surly, the energetic and pumping Chevere I find an exercise or excursion into Bass but not too much to my licking, though I can very well imagine this in an more tenser part of a set. See what you make of it.

Altogether a very versatile and well rounded EP to my ears. By all means this is just my personal impression, but looking at the comments the EP got on SoundCloud I might not be too off this time round.

Go write to Ralph (info@alephmusic.net) if you like and see if you can still have a copy of the Silver & Black EP. If you ask nicely he might still sell you one and perhaps even add a  little bit of a surprise to the package. Worked for me. Super happy with my copy.
